Gabrielle Donoghue
Point of Sale Graphic Designer
My name is Gabrielle, and I am the POS (Point of Sale) Graphic Designer at EZ Living Furniture. I have been here for about a year now, having joined after graduating from ATU with a bachelor's degree in graphic design in 2025.
The four years I spent in college gave me a great foundation for working in the design industry, and ultimately, it led to this - my first graphic design role. Since joining EZ Living Furniture, my skills have grown immensely. I learn something new every day, and working with such a positive and supportive team makes it a really motivating environment to be a part of.
There is more to POS design than many would assume. It's not just about creating graphics; of course, that is a part of it too, but it's also about being organised, communicating effectively across all stores and departments, while ensuring everything is consistent. I'm responsible for creating the latest product pricing graphics, including posters and signage, and communicating these updates with all stores across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Originally from Kildare, I moved to Galway to pursue my studies, develop my creativity and start building a career in design. EZ Living Furniture has allowed me to gain valuable experience and grow as a designer. Looking back at where I started a year ago and where I am now, it's great to see how much I've grown, and I'm excited to see where I can take my creativity next!
Aishling Hughes
Social Media Executive
My name is Aishling, and I am currently employed as Social Media Executive at EZ Living Furniture.
When I first began working with EZ Living Furniture in 2019, I was employed as an Assistant Manager in the Castlebar store. From there, my career developed, and I was promoted to Store Manager. Earlier this year, I decided to challenge myself once again by applying for the role of Social Media Executive within the marketing department. This was a key moment in my career. I was delighted to get the opportunity to apply for the role and then be chosen for it.
In my current role as Social Media Executive, I am responsible for content creation and management. I handle social media queries, and promote stores, products, as well as company-wide news and events.
Looking back at where I started and where I am today, I am proud of my progression within the company and the confidence it has given me. My journey with EZ Living Furniture has given me skills and opportunities I wouldn't have had previously, but as well as that, I have made great friends in the process, and those are friends I have made for life.
If I could give advice to someone considering joining the company, it would be to do it. The job you apply for isn't necessarily the only job you will do within the company, and the support and encouragement you receive along the way is fantastic.
Josh McGrory
Sligo Store Manager
My name is Josh, and I am currently employed as a Store Manager at EZ Living Furniture.
When I first joined the company in 2021, I started as a Sales Advisor. From there, my career developed through several promotions. I was promoted to Assistant Manager, where I took on increased responsibility for managing the sales team, driving sales performance and maintaining shop standards in support of the Store Manager.
One of the key moments in my journey came when the CEO called me to encourage me to apply for the role of Store Manager. That meant a lot to me. It felt like he believed in me and my ability to take the next step, and that became an even bigger driving factor for me to strive to achieve the most I could.
Today, in my role as Store Manager, I am responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the shop, managing the sales team and driving sales performance. I have a really great team around me, and over the years I have made friends for life.
If I could give one piece of advice to someone considering joining the company, it would be to just be yourself. There is a place in EZ Living Furniture for every type of person, and you will always fit in. Work hard, be willing to learn, and make the most of the opportunities around you.
Liam McEvilly

My name is Liam McEvilly, and I am currently employed as a Facility Supervisor at EZ Living Furniture.
When I first joined the company in 2005, I started as a Project Coordinator. From there, my career has progressed through various roles, including Sales, setting up the Photo Studio and, for the last 12 years, managing the accessories warehouse.
Today, as Facility Supervisor, I am responsible for the upkeep, development and day-to-day running of the building and grounds. What I enjoy most about my role is the variety of the work involved and the people with whom I work. Every day brings something different.
EZ Living Furniture has played a big part in my career development. The support I have received from the company, colleagues, and my team has helped me enormously as I progressed through various roles.
Looking back at where I started and where I am today, I am proud of both my achievements and progression. My journey with EZ Living Furniture has given me skills, experience, confidence, and friendships, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given. Looking ahead, I am excited to continue developing my career with EZ Living Furniture.
