Maintenance

Velvet Care:

Velvet is a soft fabric with no loose threads making it more durable and resistant to pulls.

Remove dust from velvet using the brush attachment and a low suction on your vacuum.
Remove fluff using a lint roller.
Remove stains from velvet by first allowing it to dry into the mini fibers. Then use warm soapy water and a damp cloth, baby water wipe, or upholstery wipe.

Remove body/pet odors by enlisting the help of a professional. We recommend having your velvet sofa steam cleaned every 12-18 months. It's important to have all matching pieces of velvet cleaned at the same time to produce an even fade. After steam cleaning, it is advisable to brush the surface of your couch to restore the raised look or nap of the surface.

Cushions:

Removable seat covers: This sofa has removable seat covers for easier maintenance.

It is NOT advisable to wash removable seat covers in your washing machine. This can cause seat covers to shrink.
Dry-Clean Only: We advise getting these covers professionally dry-cleaned. Make sure that you get all of the removable covers dry-cleaned at the same time, as dry-cleaning them one by one could result in varying colors.

Foam Cushions: These require an occasional turning.
