It’s officially 2025 and we’re hurtling towards spring and summer at an incredible speed. We won’t lie to you, we’re already looking forward to the return of the nice weather and dreaming of the days when we can sit outside to enjoy our morning coffees again. The afternoons are even better, curled up on our favourite garden set with an enjoyable novel, soaking up the sun from chapter to chapter. For many people, being outside is their happy place, but quality garden furniture is also needed to make it a comfortable place to be. To keep our outdoor space looking modern, we must pay attention to the latest trends too, which is why we have compiled some of the best and latest items that you’ll want in your garden this year! Keep reading to learn all about the Garden Furniture Trends for 2025!
From Cube To Cute
It’s clear to see that the trend in outdoor furniture for 2025 is shifting towards creating a seamless blend of comfort, durability, and style. Before now, the focus was on space-saving shapes rather than comfort or style, which is why we saw a lot of rattan cube sets that fit together when not in use. Rather than square, dark-coloured wicker, we’re embracing lounge sets and individual pieces that feature organic woven materials, curved shapes and are slim in stature. A perfect example of this trend can be seen in our Lupin Set featuring two wicker chairs and a table above.
Sleek Coffee Tables
This year, it’s all about sleek coffee tables that are contemporary in their design. Whether constructed from one material like rattan or multiple with concrete surfaces and wooden legs, all are welcome and encouraged for 2025. The Poco Outdoor Coffee Table perfectly encapsulates the 2025 garden trends with its oiled acacia wooden frame with weather-resistant qualities, and concrete tabletop.
Small But Mighty Bistro Sets
Bistro sets first appeared last year and we loved this new addition to our outdoor furniture family. Bistro sets typically feature two lounge chairs and a small side table. And if we’re honest, not much more is needed to relax in the sun. With outdoor spaces becoming smaller, especially in urban areas, there’s a growing demand for these and other compact and foldable furniture that can fit well in limited spaces. The Flores Set is brand new this year and is set to be a huge hit this summer.
Multipurpose Sets
Fire pits, ice buckets, and all of the above are strongly encouraged this year. Our gardens are transforming into an extension of our indoors, so it makes sense that we are seeing these additions outside too. Our Oxford Garden Sets are popular and sell out almost every year because of their versatility in an outdoor space with Lazy Susan and firepit features. One of the newest garden sets to arrive at EZ Living Furniture is our Ashbury Set, which features a corner group, two ottomans, and a firepit in the centre for toasting marshmallows!
Eggcellent Egg Chairs
Egg chairs will continue to dominate our outdoor spaces in 2025. Not only this, but they will also make a great addition to our indoor areas too! Egg chairs are incredibly versatile and can be used for so many different tasks, and maybe that’s why they seem to be sticking around for a while. If you were reluctant to invest in one of these in the past, take this as your sign to grab yours now, you won’t regret it. The Fiji above features a somewhat traditional shape but with a contemporary twist.

Industrial Style Accents
While woven accents are the primary focus this year, that doesn’t mean that other materials can’t be. An industrial style will also be incredibly popular for gardens in 2025. That means metal legs, arms, with contrasting outer materials are all you need to smash garden trends this year. Essentially, a mix of materials including rattan, metal and wicker or rope is what you are looking for in 2025.
Recliners & Fabulous Footstools
Sun loungers are perfect for when you want to soak up the sun, but what about when you just want to stay sitting up, but spread out with your feet up, this is where your recliner and footstool come in. Until now, we’ve only seen these items in our living rooms, so to have them in our gardens now is an absolute dream. This outdoor furniture trend is something that we are incredibly excited about and just so happens to encompass the seamless blend of comfort, style, and durability that we mentioned earlier too! The Laurel above features two chairs, 2 footstools, and a table and would make for an incredibly comfortable choice.
Plenty Of Parasols
Let’s be honest, when the sun first makes an appearance, we’d happily sit out in it for hours. After a few hours though, we’re desperately searching for our parasols. Luckily, they too are on trend for this year. In fact, sheltering yourself from the sun has never been cooler, especially when you have the Alhambra Parasol pictured above.
Now that you know the trends to expect in your gardens this year, you can start picking up those pieces before they inevitably sell out!
