(We recommend you use Osmo Polyx Oil, or other high-quality Danish oil found in DIY or paint and decorating stores.)

Must be oiled prior to first use
For daily care, use a firmly wrung slightly damp cloth with water followed by a dry cloth, to dry any excess moisture.
Remove dust from hardwood using a barely damp lint-free cloth (ideally micro-fiber). Dust, when not removed, will become abrasive and can damage the wood.
Wipe up any sticky areas or spills quickly using a barely damp microfiber cloth to avoid soakage. There should not be enough water in this cloth to leave a residue.
Wipe down with a dry towel afterwards.
To maintain a natural, smooth wooden finish that is durable and resistant to the light, humidity, and temperature conditions of your home, we recommend treating all furniture surfaces with oil three to four times a year or when you notice it getting dry and patchy. Tabletops and other surfaces in daily use may need treating with oil more frequently.
Hardwood needs to be oiled on a regular basis to stop it from drying out.
If the grain has risen and the furniture seems rough, before treating it with oil, you can lightly sand along the grain with fine sandpaper (grade 240-320) – remember to wipe away the wood dust before treating with oil as described above.
This oil will also help to cover any scratches and add to its lustre and color.
Apply the oil with a soft, lint-free cloth along the grain and wipe away any surplus oil with a dry cloth.

* Protect floors and clothes and air the room to remove the smell of oil. Used cloths should be discarded because oil remains can self-ignite.

* Polishes, Chemical & disinfectant sprays should be avoided at all costs. *

Always use waterproof coasters and placemats for hot or cold drinks/plates.

Fabric Upholstery Care:

This fabric is 100% polyester, chosen for its durability, longevity and ease of cleaning.
Ideal for furniture this type of fabric holds its shape better than some other materials.
Remove dust from polyester using the brush attachment and a low suction on your vacuum.
Remove general dirt on lighter-coloured polyester using an upholstery wipe.
Remove unwanted marks using a fabric sofa cleaning kit. Always test this on a concealed area of the fabric first.
